ACTION: C.6:

Elimination of illegal waste dumps, transportation of communal waste off the site.

The aim of the action is reaching and keeping an ecologically stable condition of sodic lakes with the exclusion of any kind of pollution.

In 2009: We have started the elimination of waste. In this year we managed to collect and transport a considerable quantity of communal waste from the project site.

In 2010: The unusually high precipitation inhibited also this action but with the help of volunteers we collected all the plastic garbage along the Madgolna-ér and around the clay-pits in late autumn (mainly brought in by the flooding).

In 2011: The communal waste was collected from most of the project site so the landscape value greatly increased. By the help of volunteers plastic garbage was removed from the project site 2011 again. When the field works will take place we will remove all waste material (concrete, soil, bricks etc.) from the project site.

In 2012: The intended target of the action has been 95% achieved as following the communal waste collected previously most of the other waste was also collected in 2012 while carrying out the machinery field works.
